Patricio Lara, is a traveler, his music is a mix of flavors and rhythms of the world, through the fusion of latin america & the world, Pato offers a complete experience that invites all cultures to join in this great travel through an environment of reflection, good vibes, sharing from the heart, bringing an atmosphere rich in culture throughout the world, being a faithful representative of his culture.
Born in Sydney, Australia, son of Chilean parents at an early age led him back to his ancestral country, to grow in Chile, and to know his roots.
Singer & self-taught guitarist, developing the legacy he has inherited from his mother alive, has an innate musical talent which from his early 13’s helped him to forge his way forming and participating in countless musical projects & bands from californian punk, reggae, bossa , latino & Anglo rock, Latin American trova, salsa, rumba, samba, folklore, jazz, soul & boleros.
He has also had appearances in theater, this was how in 2011 he worked in the famous play “Open Couple” of Dario Fo, directed by the Colombian actor Alexander Palacios in Sydney, as well as in 2015 he happened to be the “Tomacito ” from the so typical Chilean musical play ” La pergola de la flores “written by Isidora Aguirre and music by Francisco Flores del Campo, which was directed by the Chilean actress Paulina Johnson in Sydney.
Pato is a “patiperro” (all rounder) , traveling the world, visiting different places from the old Europe, America and Asia has performed as far afield as India, South America, Indonesia, Mexico, Colombia, Australia & Chile. After having released independently his first album “Travesia” in 2012, which includes his first single “Enamorado de la vida”. He is currently lainching his second album “Raices” in August 2018, which is a reconnection to his ancestral roots and journey throughout the teachings of different native cultures from around the world.
His third album “Bendicion” is on it’s way, to be launched in March 2019.
On September 2015 he gave the initial kick off to the “Bondi Fonda” in Sydney, (a traditional way to celebrate the independence day of Chile) surpassing all expectations, filled beyond capacity at the already well known bar “Jam Gallery”, with more than 700 Chileans and people from all around the world, positioning itself as one of the best panoramas in Chilean Independence celebrations in Sydney.
“Music is the universal language that allows us to communicate from the heart” In 2013 he received the “Viva Fiesta Award” of the Latin American Festival at Darling Harbour, in recognition to his cultural contribution to the Latino community.
This and more have led Pato, to establish himself as one of the most recognized representatives of the Chilean & Latin American culture in Australia, which is perceived in his original compositions. Between love song to the earth, global, political and contestario consciousness, Pato meets with his charisma and musical signature who have defined him as a composer and representative of a new generation that carries the legacy of music and culture from Latin America and the world.

Patricio Lara, es un viajero, su música es una mezcla de sabores de ritmos del mundo, a través de las fusiones de latino america & del mundo, Pato ofrece una experiencia completa que invita a todas las culturas a unirse en este gran ambiente de viaje a través de la reflexión, buena vibra, compartiendo desde el corazón, reuniendo una atmósfera rica en cultura del mundo entero, siendo un fiel representante de su cultura. Nacido en Sydney, Australia, hijo de padres chilenos, a temprana edad lo llevaron de regreso a su pais ancestral, para crecer en chile, y asi conocer sus raices.
Cantante & guitarrista autodidacta, desarrollando el legado que su madre le ha heredado en vida, tiene un talento musical innato que desde los 13 años le ayudo para forjar su camino formando y participando en innumerables proyectos musicales & bandas, desde punk californiano, reggae, bossa, rock latino & anglo, trova latinoamericana, salsa, rumba, ballenato, samba, folklore, jazz, soul & boleros.
También ha tenido participaciones en teatro, fue así como en el 2011 trabajo en la conocida obra “Pareja abierta” de Dario Fo, dirigida por el actor colombiano Alexander Palacios en Sydney, como también en el pasado 2015 en que paso a ser el “Tomacito” de la tan tipica obra chilena “La pérgola de las flores” escrita por Isidora Aguirre y musicalizada por Francisco Flores del Campo, la cual fue dirigida por la actriz chilena Paulina Johnson, en Sydney.
Pato es un “patiperro”, viajando por el mundo, recorriendo distintos lugares desde la vieja Europa, América y Asia ha tocado en lugares tan remotos como en la India, Norte América, Indonesia, México, Colombia, Australia & Chile. Luego de haber lanzado de manera independiente, su primer album “Travesia” en el 2012, en el cual esta incluido su primer sencillo “Enamorado de la vida”. Actualmente esta finalizando su segundo album “Raices” que sera lanzado en Agosto 2018, y su tercer album “Bendición” sera lanzado en Marzo 2019
El pasado Septiembre 2015 le dio el punta pie inicial a la “Bondi Fonda” en Sydney, sobrepasando toda expectativa, llenando por sobre su capacidad el ya reconocido bar “Jam Gallery”, con mas de 700 chilenos y gente de todo el mundo, posicionandose como uno de los mejores panoramas dieciocheros en Sydney.

Entre el canto de amor a la tierra, consciencia global, politico y contestario, Pato reune consigo un carisma y sello musical que lo han definido como compositor y representante de una nueva generación, que lleva el legado de la música y cultura de latino america y el mundo.
